Mission
Village International Inc. works with communities to advance dignity, opportunity, health, education and lasting social change — ending gender-based violence, advancing gender justice and reproductive health and rights, and supporting women, girls and youth through grassroots advocacy, healing and community-led organizing.
Vision
Communities everywhere with the resources, rights and leadership to shape their own futures — where women and girls are free, safe and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies, their lives and their futures.

Youth innovation and SRHR access
Expand youth-led initiatives and improve access to sexual and reproductive health information and services.
Health partnerships and referral
Strengthen partnerships with clinics and health workers so referrals lead to real follow-up care.
Rural and community leadership
Develop grassroots leaders, with priority given to women and young people in rural communities.
Community monitoring and advocacy
Support communities to monitor local services and advocate for the changes they identify.
Integrated health and livelihoods
Connect HIV care, mental health and healing support with economic empowerment rather than treating them separately.
Movement building
Build durable alliances with grassroots organizations working on gender justice and community development.
