Village International works with women and girls as partners and decision-makers, not recipients. Our programming is designed with local women's groups and community leaders who define the priorities in their own context.
Areas of focus include ending gender-based violence, safe and confidential support for survivors, access to education, sexual and reproductive health information, feminist leadership development and pathways to income.
Support is survivor-centered and voluntary: women and girls decide what help they want, and no one is required to share their story to receive it.
